The economic results of our sector in 2011 reflect, particularly the eurozone, the global
economic crisis.
This data strongly indicates that innovative proposals and additional market opportunities
are needed.
Work continues on realizing the opportunities of EU Directive 2011/24 concerning the
application of patients' rights to pan European health care in order to allow the free choice of the spa in any State of the EU starting in October 2013.
At the ceremony held in Cuntis in Spain May 5, 2012 to give the Marcial Campus
International Award for Scientific Research we reiterated that Spain should include the spa
therapies in the public health system, which is essential for the country in order to benefit
from the provisions of EU Directive 2011/24.
We are committed to the goal that in Europe, at least in cross-border regions, it should be
possible to realize the freedom of choice of spa in anticipation of the provisions of EU
Directive 2011/24.
Please remember that in Lanjaron - Granada (Spain) the 38th World Congress of ISMH will
take place from the 20th to 23rd of June 2012. This is an important congressional meeting of
that honors the undisputed scientific prestige of ISMH, and the entire spa.

In the coming months, the book "Romania Spa Resort" by N. Teleki and L. Munteanu will
be published. It is an essential source of information about the spas of Romania - 500 pages
in Romanian and English with over 300 photos and maps.
Overall, the news is not positive regarding the numbers of tourist using Romanian spas.

November 29th to 30th, 2011 - Águas de Lindoia
Without doubt, the activities related to the spas consume few natural resources and create
little waste. At the same time, spas are sensitive to the local community, promote nature
conservation and provide opportunities for income and employment.
Natural mineral waters and resources are enjoying a moment of good health.
Recent research shows that the quality of water supplies and hydroelectric sources are
among the primary characteristics correlated with the development of new business
segments, for example the bottled water industry. With the largest reserves of stored water on the planet, Brazil has 96% of the worlds in the geothermal resources. It is developing the thermal spa sector.
The SPA MEETING III OMTh BRAZIL 2011 has highlighted the emergence of a national
growth in spas and opportunities connected to various related areas of activity .
There were 21 responses from professionals who have provided an overview of the
Brazilian diversified. The speakers were from the States of Santa Catarina, São Paulo and
Goiás, where more than 40% of domestic spas are located. They include doctors, nurses,
engineers, architects, physicists, geologists, dietitians, representatives of pharmaceutical
products and cosmetics companies, CEOs, politicians and historians. The speakers gave
examples of their practical and scientific experience. In a guided tour, attendees were able to
enjoy the natural hot springs, use the radon inhalation equipment and try various hydroponic
treatments. Many authorities intervened: the Consul General Republic of Poland-Dr. Tale
Jacek; the mayor of Aguas de Lindoia, as well as representatives and authorities of SBT,
ABINAM, SPAS ABC, CIRCUIT das Aguas PAULISTA, ATHISC, AMAT, PRODEP,
CVB.
Our "Hydrocity" is located in Aguas de Lindoia - São Paulo. It is characterized by hot
springs and blue emanating Radom (222Rn) and Thoron (220Rn) as a gas, or in liquid form,
all with potential therapeutic levels . The testimony of paleontology, archeology and the
recent history surrounding this "village by the hot spring" are rich and well documented by
scientific studies conducted by Dr. Tozzi.

Esta informação indica fortemente que as propostas inovadoras e oportunidades de mercado adicionais são necessários.
O trabalho continua em perceber as oportunidades da Directiva da UE 2011/24 relativo à
aplicação dos direitos dos doentes para se deslocar de saúde europeu, a fim de permitir a escolha livre do spa em qualquer Estado da UE a partir de outubro de 2013.
Na cerimônia realizada em Cuntis na Espanha 5 de maio de 2012 para dar o Campus Marcial
Prêmio Internacional para a Investigação Científica reiterou que a Espanha deve incluir o spa
terapias no sistema de saúde pública, o que é essencial para o país, a fim de beneficiar
das disposições da Directiva da UE 2011/24.
Estamos comprometidos com a meta que, na Europa, pelo menos em regiões transfronteiriças, deve ser possível perceber a liberdade de escolha de spa em antecipação das disposições da UE.

Sem dúvida, as atividades relacionadas com os spas consumir poucos recursos naturais e criar
poucos resíduos. Ao mesmo tempo, spas são sensíveis para a comunidade local, promover natureza conservação e proporcionar oportunidades de emprego e renda. As águas minerais naturais e os recursos estão desfrutando de um momento de boa saúde. Uma pesquisa recente mostra que a qualidade do abastecimento de água e fontes hidrelétricas são entre as principais características correlacionadas com o desenvolvimento de novos negócios segmentos, por exemplo, a indústria da água engarrafada. Com as maiores reservas de água armazenada no planeta, o Brasil tem 96% dos mundos no recursos geotérmicos. É o desenvolvimento do sector termal.
A REUNIÃO SPA III OMTh BRASIL 2011 tem em destaque o surgimento de um nacional
crescimento em spas e oportunidades ligados a várias áreas de atividade relacionadas.
Houve 21 respostas de profissionais que tenham apresentado uma visão geral do
Brasileira diversificada. Os palestrantes foram dos Estados de Santa Catarina, São Paulo e
Goiás, onde mais do que 40% das estações termais domésticos estão localizados. Eles incluem médicos, enfermeiros, engenheiros, arquitetos, físicos, geólogos, nutricionistas, representantes de produtos farmacêuticos produtos e cosméticos empresas, executivos, políticos e historiadores. Os palestrantes deram exemplos de sua experiência prática e científica.
